Hina dating game

Chaos;Child story question

2020.10.25 21:01 BusyGettingLaid Chaos;Child story question

I beat the first main route and am working through Hina's route but it feels like the game has practically turned into a dating sim at this point which I'm personally not super into and I don't think I can force myself through three more routes of this. Should I force skip through these next routes to get to the true ending, or will I end up missing vital information?

2020.09.21 20:49 BiggBoss-14 Bigg Boss 14: Vikas Gupta Won't Enter BB As His Name Was Removed At The Last Minute; Says: 'I Was Game For It, They Changed Their Mind'

As Bigg Boss 14's air date is nearing, fans' anticipation is also rising now. But in the midst, some new developments are happening from the Bigg Boss makers end. However, the changes are not regarding the show but it has to do with the contestants. Well, Vikas Gupta who has been making a special appearance in previous seasons of Bigg Boss, 11, 12 and 13, will not make an entry in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 14 now. Apparently, his name was struck off from the final list at the last minute and Vikas Gupta is all okay with this sudden change. According to a source, Vikas Gupta was supposed to feature in Bigg Boss 14 but his name fell out from the final list.
A source told ETimes, "It is a mystery why Vikas' name was struck off, more or less at the last minute. One wonders who did this to him and why. It was not in good taste, especially if you consider that his presence in the last 3 seasons- Season 11, 12 and 13- garnered good Trp." Even Vikas confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I was approached for Bigg Boss 14 and I was game for it. Seems, they changed their mind. I am not going now. But it's okay."
Previous seasons' contestants like Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan, Hina Khan, Mona Lisa and a few to enter the show. A source exclusively told SpotboyE.com, "They will not be there to support anyone but to play for themselves. However, no voting lines will be opened for them but their tasks and popularity among the audience will keep taking them ahead in the show."

2020.08.25 20:14 Official_Phatkid Nisekoi is one of the best rom-coms but highly unrealistic. [RANT] Opinion

This anime is totally fucking wack-o when it comes to relationships, people, personality decency, and characters.
I personally enjoy romances, and there's nothing romantic in a story about a bunch of usually capable and talented women pursuing some lame, boring, and one-note generic looking guy.
To be honest, I never really like Haru and Kosaki's hair, I always thought of it as tacky, like come on? If you ever go outside with that type of ugly, messy, bedhead hair then it'll be pretty humiliating. I would never do that, especially since she's a GIRL in her teens. But then again it's not my hair so I shouldn't hate. I'm a boy in my teens, and if I ever saw a girl like that I would laugh at her.
Characters ~
I'll start off with the characters, and address them in turn. To start off, it's Chitoge (aka Shitoge). She starts off as your typical violent tsundere bitch, but she develops. Sorta. She goes from a violent bitch to a marginally less violent bitch. She loves Raku, but she'd never say that and the only "close" moments that happen between them are when they decide to pull the "Oh shit they're supposed to be dating" plot device (which in itself is often ignored) or when they pull the "Oh shit she's scared of thunder" device. Other than that she's 90% violent and bitch, 10% tolerable.
Let's be honest here, Would you DATE a someone like Chitoge? Sure, she ended up becoming closer too Raku but at first she was really disrespectful, she still kinda is now! Read the manga. I'm sure you will see that their relationship was semi-toxic. But at least they had a good kid. But she was still very, VERY disrespectful.
Tachibana has her flaws too. First of all, Raku doesn't want to be married to a police child, if he is going to become another member of that shitty gang he's in. Like come on? They're not even that organized they just look like fools with guns! Not like Mafia or 1% MC'S it would ruin their empire . Secondly Tachibana is wayyy too attached to Raku, it's kinda creepy. I don't want any of MY friends who are girls being like that towards me. Because it would ruin the relationship I have right now. In the manga when Chitoge and Raku get married she STILL HAS SOMETHING FOR HIM. LIKE COME ON THERE IS PLENTY OF FISH IN THE SEA, but if that fish smells like FISH stay the fuck away from him (If you know what I mean, it's a STD joke) . And it's disrespectful. And don't pull any of that Polygamy shit on me. I'm sure Raku is smart enough to know that its a HUGE NO-Fucking-NO. Marika is my favorite character, however she's also likely the worst. Her personality is nothing but "I love Raku", bringing her ever lower than fucking Onodera. Her backstory is stupid, there's no other way to describe it. A guy is nice to her for like, a week, and now she devotes her entire life to him. Also her dad is big in the police, but don't worry, that's irrelevant to the plot most of the time.
What about Tsugumi, she's great right? Eh, she's less shit than the others, I guess. She probably pulls out a win for development, but that's only because we get to see a personal conflict where she loves Raku but doesn't want to steal her favorite person's boyfriend. Now if only she could develop far enough to actually make a choice in this decision, instead of constantly milking that conflict like Blizzard milks fucking Warcraft. Tsugumi had the BEST character development. Going from a brain-dead robot zombie following the orders from that gorilla girl. To becoming an individual and happy person. She was really nice to Raku too. He should of stuck with her. Not that bed-headed puppy, Orange hair female simp or that gorilla girl. But now that I think of it, Raku had a pretty bad hair cut too, and what the fuck kind of hair piece did he wear? What the fuck? Tsugumi wasn't the sexiest, but she sure was the best when it came to personality.
Holy shit after thinking about it, This anime is seriously exaggerated when it comes to serious relationships, personalities, people, women, men and crime.
Next up is Onodera, aka O-no personality-dera. She's a moeblob. That's really it. She's your typical "I'm nice and everyone loves me" type of character. What are her personality traits beyond nice? She's cute. And? Nothing really. People only like her because she fits that archetype of super nice moe girl, but beyond that she's a paper plate. All of her other traits either add to her cute-ness or add to her kindness. She can't cook, how moe. She loves her sister, how nice. She blushes a lot, how moe. Raku and Kosaki were friends ever since middle school and they both clearly had a thing for each other but none of them had the courage to try to be together. They were always stuck at square one, Just saying, "Hi" to each other awkwardly and never going on from there, and it was the same thing over and over everyday. Raku is a pussy, but Onodera's personality kept her from trying to be with Raku, She never had the determination to achieve and in the end she never got what she wanted.
Haru is basically Onodera and Tsugumi mixed together. All the personality of Onodera with the "I love him but I want X to be happy" of Tsugumi. Not much else really, that's Haru in a nutshell.
If they were to be together I'm sure it would get boring, unless they decide to get to the next level. But they would still be simping for each other.
Chitoge on the other hand had the determination but never really liked Raku. She had the determination to try to, " step up the game" but never really had the personality, "to surpass it." I actually have a theory that Raku only married Chitoge because he didn't want an all out gang war like how it was originally planned and still had a thing for Kosaki, even though she has no idea how to use a hair comb. But hey that's one thing they have in common!
Chitoge and Raku may have never lived happily ever after or maybe they did? , Their son looks like a faggot too, just like his dad. So maybe Raku got the kid and Shitoge left them. At least Raku will have taught him how to be a good decent human.
Anyways what I'm trying to say is that the key too a good relationship is personality and determination. A girl can be nice but never have her own opinions, a girl can have her own opinions and WILL NOT RESPECT YOU.
The key to a good relationship is respect, courage, not being a fucking bitch and love.
Kosaki has no development, No development towards Raku or her character. Meanwhile look at Chitoge,Tachibana, and Tsugumi.
Each had their entire character personalities shifted and we got to see them from another angle.
Finally we have Raku, aka "I'm a harem protagonist". This guys dense as a fucking cinder block. He couldn't understand that these girls loved him if they tried to shoot him with a magic love inducing bow or some stupid shit like that. He's also got a yakuza family, but don't worry, that won't come up except when they need to make Chitoge and him look like a couple. It's as if living in a yakuza family did nothing for his personality. All it did was give him the magic ability to cook, great use of opportunity there.
Here's where you say, "You must hate fun, critically analyzing a harem comedy and it's plot. We watch it for the fun mate, it's fun." Except it isn't. It's just a harem comedy with good character designs (note: designs, not characters). Imagine if this had some shit animation company, no one would have watched it because animation is the only thing it has going for it. It's "comedy" is all the same basic harem romcom nonsense. It's all based around misunderstandings, Raku being dense, the girls being embarrassed, and blushing. A lot of fucking blushing.
The plot is lackluster at best, and ripped off of Love Hina (and others) at worst. News flash, someone already did the "Who's the promised childhood friend" thing has been done before. A lot, actually. Also what the fuck was the point of making Raku's family yakuza and Chitoge's family mafia if you weren't going to do shit with it. It might as well have been an arranged marriage for all they did. The yakuza aspect shows up rarely, when they need to contrive some reason for Raku and Chitoge absolutely have to look like a couple and cause some misunderstanding or "comedy". The fact Marika's dad is police is also worthless. I mean they could have pulled something there, but it's meaningless. All of this wasted opportunity for what? So they could fit more of this key and locket bullshit in? Oh no, the key broke. Now we'll never know and for some reason a locksmith takes fucking ages to fix this. Get a better fucking locksmith, first of all, and just put the damn key in it. There is so much around this ridiculous "childhood friend" nonsense.

But in opinion this anime was REALLY good. It will be one of my favorite animes of all time. But I wish they would of made the characters more smarter. Like they should of makde Raku like Light Yagami from Death note instead Rito Yuuki from To love-ru. I loved the story even when it was dumb. But it was a good anime.

2020.07.16 07:16 superdubes Looking for a fun harem anime with powerful women.

Something like Sekirei, High School DxD, Maken-ki, or Strike the Blood. I know that last one isn't dubbed but the others are. I was just giving it as an example.
Those are the only ones that come to mind off the top of my head. Just looking for a fun harem show to watch while I play games. Lots of monotonous walking in Death Stranding and my ADD requires background noise lol.
I know that all of those are pretty ecchi in terms of series, but that's not what I'm looking for in this.
I think The Ambition of Oda Nobuna fits this category too, but I don't remember too much from it.
What I'm looking for is a show where the girls can hold their own even if the MC is completely OP by comparison, has good fights, and good laughs.
The fanservice factor isn't something I'm looking for, but I always get a laugh out of it regardless. It's also kinda hard to avoid in this genre sometimes. I'm mostly a fan of this genre because I love romantic comedy and action.
A list of harem anime/manga I've watched/read that I can think of off the top of my head for reference. All of which I've enjoyed to some degree. Even if I think the show itself wasn't all that great. I'm a sucker for generic isekai. I can't help myself. Not all fit the criteria of what I'm asking for. Just want to give examples of what I've seen.
High School DxD
Maken-Ki
Sekirei
Tenchi Muyo
Love Hina
Nisekoi
We Never Learn
Maga-Tsuki (manga)
In Another World with my Smartphone
The 8th Son?! Are you Kidding Me?! - even though only one of the girls shows any real interest in the MC like that.
Monster Musume
SAO - consider it a harem even though we all know who he's picked already
Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody
How Not to Summon a Demon Lord
To Love-Ru
Demon Lord Retry
DanMachi
Is This a Zombie?
Love Tyrant
Ai Yori Aoshi - iirc this is harem haven't read the manga in forever
Armed Girls Machiavellianism
Date A Live
Demon King Daimao
The Quintessential Quintuplets
Infinite Stratos
Asterisk War
Haganai
Hensuki
Oresuki

2020.07.14 06:09 valcroft What are good simulation genre games you could play on the LDK? (Currently exploring retro consoles)

On GBA, there's:
And then I think there's the Populous and Age of Empire and Anno(?) games? And Sim City I think. I'm not so sure if they're good and on what console they're good on.
Actually I'm just looking for life sim games. Or may sim games in general.
Any comments on this would be great thanks!

2020.07.08 23:50 SammyLickMeSoftly [Meta] Why are people here so fixated on "canonized" figures of characters in fan arts here? You do know fanservice is an completely normal thing that's been going on for an long time in medium.

I'm writing this because I been noticing alot of people here getting offended when fanarts of the main female characters are posted here with slightly more biggger assets than they have in the game and most of the complaints had been because they are "underaged" and its not "morally right", its "perverted" and "sleazy".
I just want to give out some counter points why I think these things are wrong and why I think these things being said are doing more harm than good to Artists as an whole.
A) Like I said in the title, fanservice has been going on for such an long time in medium that you can date this back to when Disney was making movies. Remembered that one scene in Aladdin where Princess Jasmin was dressed in all red and only had an bikini top(which she had on the rest of the movie) and started showing off her body sexually. Fun fact, she was 16. And Aladdin is still one of the most popular disney movies of all time despite that fact and is still loved today. And every disney princesses we had were all underaged as well and some of them did show off their assets as well but there never had been an outraged about them which probably is because maybe people did not realized it at the time with how mature all the princesses looked like I did or some just didn't care.

Same thing with cartoon shows/movies like Totally Spies when you have 3 female high schoolers acting as spies and you get these gimmick episodes where they get into an whole bunch of mess that looked like fetishes. Like for example, Alex turned into an half cat, the girls get fat off of some cookies, one of them turns into an giant, closed up of their feet at some points in the show, and etc. Then you got famous cartoon movies like Space Jam with Lola which needs no explanation if you seen the movie and had an crush on her.

And don't get me started on anime/manga where for example in Bleach, you have an character named Orihime who is 15yo and she has big set of bonkers on her chest that the anime made fun of all the time or Hinata in Naruto Shippuden with her set too and she was 16. And again there's been no sort of outrage over those things or people voicing their opinions about how offensive it is. Instead people don't watch the shows if its not for them and moved on. Something that should be happening with fanarts as well. If you don't like it, you don't have to look at it or support it. Focus on the stuff you liked but don't ruin it for everyone else because of your opinion on what you think an artist shouldn't draw. Movies, shows, or anything animated has been doing this sort of thing for an long time too and if you're going to criticize one fan art for doing something simliar you might as well criticize every medium that does the similar thing.

B) There is already an amount of pervs here that love to daydream about Makoto and Futuba all the time here who are btw 17yo and 15yo. And with the amount of debate that goes on about if its right to date Futuba or not because of her being the legit only child in the group, I'm surprised that we are now having higher standards to judge people on what they draw when most of the Persona fanbase are not that innocent either.

Also on the topic of them, I want to bring up this point about the main cast girls that seem to be missing here. Ann, Makoto, Kasumi, and Futuba all have get ups that are pretty exposing already in the game. Makoto having an slightly more bigger ass when she in her PT outfit, Ann being an constant working model in the game despite being 16, wears short shorts in the summer, and wears an red right spandex outfit that show off everything even her half exposed breast that which btw are noticeable big as well, don't get me started on Futuba who wears black tiny shorts and an white shirt that shows off her shoulders and her black bra-like shirt under there and she goes out in public wearing the outfit and she 15. And then at last we got Kasumi who please don't tell me Atlus didn't try to lintentionally make her look as good as possible with how the only top outfit she has is an tight singlet that shows off her legs and upper chest and top it off with long knee sized leather boots that is bound to get eyes on her and that's what def happened ever since her reveal and its why you see alot of artists draw her the way they do is because Atlus purposely design her in an way to look catch eyes while still looking cool as possible which btw, not every fan art of characters with big boobs always means they are doing it because they have perv thoughts. They sometimes do it because it makes the character looks even cooler and sometimes that's their natural artsyle is to draw that way.

C) And this is the important one to me and like I mentioned in B), why you guys caring so much for canonized figures when Atlus themselves probably doesn't even give an damn about what any of you guys think? They are the ones that purposely put most of the female characters in these skimpy outfits to appeal to an demo and it had worked for them greatly. Like for example, Look at Kasumi's outfit and go find all the responses to it. I guarantee most of all the responses is how sexy she looked in her outfit and how much she turned them on. You don't think Atlus purposely made her this way just so they can get all the fanbase more into their game. They could care less how much meat artists put on their characters as long as it makes them more money and get more eyes on their games. I bet you most of the players that brought P5 did it because of the fan arts of the characters they saw online first. Like heck, I brought P5 when I saw an fan art of Tae Tamaki and I found out I can date her in the game. That what made me want to get an PS4 and get P5. That what got me into the Persona series which right now I still need to complete P3 which I been having fun with.

Edit: I forgot to add this in but this is important as well. But most of the artists that make these arts are all Japanese and they're culture on drawing is alot different than westerns and why I think is even more wrong to criticized them because of our belief or ideas on what is wrong when their culture is not the same as ours.

This is why the Japaneses think most of us westerns are an bunch of sensitive dorks worrying about stuff over this. You don't see them making an big issue over this and thats because they know all of these fan arts are just fiction characters with harmless fanservice put into them that have no real effect on what they do in their lives. If anything is an big issue, its going to be the vice versa with how western companies like Sony is trying to censorship anime related medium and its becoming an big enough where an Japanese mangaka named Ken Akamatsu who wrote "Love Hina" actually went up to the US government to voice his opinion on how the US needs to stop doing censorship on manga works because they are "restricting" artist's freedom to do what they want(Which there was an post about it in the manga subreddit last week). And this is what I been seeing on this sub and why I don't agree with any of the stuff that's been going on here and I'm wondering if half of the complaints are just trolling.

I understand completely of why you guys don't like seeing an 15 year old fictional character being drawn with big boobs but telling an artist they should not draw what you think is morally wrong is actually wrong in itself. The point of being an artist is having freedom to do whatever. Its why art is all the time known as "subjective" since there is no moral right or wrong answers in what to do as an artist. It encourages people to draw more. And what you guys are trying to do here is taking away that subjective part and to make an catalog of what you guys think is an right thing to draw and what is not. Shaming artists for how they draw is an immature thing to do and its pretty much selfish.

If you want to draw big boobies characters, go ahead. And if you want to get horny off of an fanart there should be no shame in that either since its human nature to be attracted to something sexy or cute. But telling another artist they should not draw an fictional character because their art style doesn't match up with their body figures in the game is silly. Art wouldn't had been where it is if no one had gone crazy with what they draw. Like this is saying artists should not draw Cleopatra as an beautiful because its not historical accurate.

Instead just have fun and don't take it so seriously. I doubt these things are having such an serious effect on your lives anyway to be worry about them.

2020.06.03 06:38 _chaos_007 !spoiler! Consolation prize for everyone! (Chap 275 spoiler)

Hina gets be with Natsuo. Rui gets to have a kid with Natsuo. Natsuo gets to marry Hina and have a kid with Rui so in a twisted sense, he gets both the girls!
Consolation prizes for everyone. That's all folks. Thanks for coming. Bye bye. Sayonara. Au revoir. Ta-ta. That's the gist of what I wanted to say but here are my extended thoughts.
First of all I would like to make it clear that I love this manga and it has been an absolute emotional roller coaster since the beginning. I have never once questioned Sasuga Sensei about why any character did what they did. Having said that, the last few chapters, as you may know, have been very controversial. Even for a person like me who is unbiased and have gone with the flow just wanting a great manga and an end that would leave all characters in a happy place. THIS IS NOT IT. These few chapters have really made me question if Sasuga sensei is really the one writing this manga anymore! This has turned into a complete nightmare for everyone. My expectation was that Rui will end up with Nat given the recent circumstances and Hina will (and almost already had) move on from Nat completely. I was really happy when Nat and Rui decide to get married. They didn't have to have Hina end up with Nat to show her happy. In my honest opinion Hina should've just been shown as a person who learnt from her past and became a strong independent person and started dating again of her own will. For someone who was in love with Hina's character since the beginning, this is a nightmare. She was especially enticing to me because she had multiple complications in this relationship with Nat. She was his teacher, his sister and she was an adult while he was not, which in hindsight puts more pressure on her than Nat. I understood every decision she made even though people criticized her for not moving on because I have been through that similar situation where it takes you years to move on from someone because of certain circumstances that society created and your love wasn't the problem.
In the end I just want to say this is all stupid and now even if Sausga sensei decides to change her mind, these chapters have left a sour taste and it won't be going away no matter how the manga goes from here on out! It feels like that kids football game where there is no winner or loser and everyone gets a participation trophy cause you don't want anyone to get hurt/feel bad.

2020.05.25 15:03 ByEthanFox The "definitive" male-audience dating VN?

One of my friends is really into otome games, and I've recently been watching Villainess this season, and it made me think about something...
What is the definitive "dating sim" VN for a male/hetero audience? With two caveats - available for Switch/Steam, and in English.
When I think "dating sim", my mind usually flicks straight to Tokimeki Memorial because that was the first one I ever heard about, way back in the 90s. Obviously though a lot of time has passed since then. What's the definitive title today, given those caveats?
By "definitive", I guess I mean the best-but-most-generic. So to compare to harem anime, the "definitive" harem anime in this regard would probably be Love Hina, not because it's the "best" or anything but because it most closely follows the formula while generally being considered good.

2020.05.25 15:01 MarJuma YOU FALSELY ACCUSED ME OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE? PAY ME 75,000$

hi bros!!! as im writing this, im still buffled from this story that a good friend told me,. Pretty long one so buckle up boiz, its gonna be a bumpy ride :] (english is not my first language so go ez on me please )
so this story is not about me(26yrs male), but a good friend of mine( lets call him Michael,26yrs male) who got screwed over BUT male justice actually exist and saved his butt.
he gave me a call from a private number said he was in town and asked if i can meet him which i said sure why the hell not ? i knew he was in desperate time and needed company.
we met , drove to an isolated place so he can *AHEM* """smoke""" told me all of this yesterday and im still shocked.
the background: Me and Michael met in the army( IDF) which at the time we met , we had only 6 mounths til the end of our service and we shared a room together with other 2 friends so i got to know him alot.He is kinda goofy but he was a really good guy: always respectful, obedient to orders, didnt mess around and most of all RESPECTED WOMEN! wouldnt lay a hand or being a creep, just a respectfull guy. true, we all had our moments of being irrational and being shmocks but he did apologyzed everytime he was in the wrong! now, two things about him: he is what you called" a lone soldier", which means he left his country (U.S , New Jersey) parents and friends to come here (Israel) and serve in the military, get married and settle down here.
the other thing he is religious or atleast came from a religious family. he would play with it a little: religious when its comforable , and not if its about weed and peicings LOL...
fast forward 3 years, apperentlly he fell in love right after his end of service with relligious girl (lets call here Karen ) and decided he will marry her in religious wedding and live a religious life ( means no more fucking around!) and he was serious about at.they dated for like a year and married right after.
the red flags:
  1. with morrocan families you something that called a Khina which is some sort of ceramony a day before the wedding or something ( please correct me if im wrong ).her familly insisted that he will pay for the wedding and they will pay for the Khina which wasnt fair because a hina is a cheaper than a wedding.
  2. Karen controlled everything that was related to him: his clothes, friends, free time for himself, things that the husband needs to do according to the religion etc.
BUT... Karen didnt want to play along and didnt do all the things she suppoesed to do as a religious wife.please alow me to elaborate : in religious marrige the couple is obligated to do things according to the religion, husband and wife. (so before u unleash the femenist krakan on me that i believe in fairness and equallity in every aspect in life for women and men alike with the same rights and responsibilities, to "play the game fairly").
  1. EVERYTHING LED TO A FIGHT! everything he said or didnt, everything he did or didnt. he told me she even hit him out of anger! THAT IS WRONG! horribly wrong!
the arrest: the final straw that gave him the guts to file a divorce through the Rabbi was when she flipped on him because he *sigh* SHAVED HIS BEARD (trimmed and shorted it, cant used a blade) that according to the religion he could in that time of the year! she claimed that this is a complete " dIsReSpEcTeD hEr FaMiLy", stormed off of theire appartment and WENT TO THE POLICE TO FILE A COMPLAINT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!
imagine this: you walk your dog outside, come back home when there are cops beside your door, saying that your wife has filed a complaint of violence against you and have to take you to the station .
that.destroyed.him:
the result of her stupidity:
1.M lost his fire-arm license because you cant hold a fire-arm if you have an criminal case against you
  1. due to the license lost, he got fired frim his job as a security guard
  2. that bitch Karen stole 10,000$ worth items from theire appartment AND a good portiong from thier joined bank account.most of the itmes were gifts from the army .
  3. he got a deleying order that prevented him to leave the country .
  4. his dream to become a travel guide in Israel . he already paied the tuition fees and now he cant because of the investigation.
because of this he told me right in the face : i have to leave , i have to get home to get my mind sorted right after all this bullshit is over. i will be back in the future though but i need a break.
the look in his eyes were so painful man... i saw a broken heat mixed with alot of rage and hatred .
  1. 50000$ FINE (oof.)
but then....oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh holy OOF! man...
he went dark, like super dark... the grinn on his face was like " but wait...i didnt finish my tale"
THE REVENGE:
after he the initial investigation, he understood what he has to do:
  1. file a divorce
  2. take EVERYTHING that he bought for her if its jewlry, accesories etc.
  3. he made a passport and even a visa to the US for her so he took it and sent " accidently" it back to NJ along with his belongings
  4. remeber that i said he fell in love? well, he wasnt shy on showing it: for 2.5 years, on almost every event he bought her VERY expensive jewls like wrist bands, rings, necklesses...you name it. in her tantrum that she did at home and took his things, she DID forget her jewlry box so he took every single thing he gave her. i wasnt joking , he showed me! "look at this, feel it." he gave me one of his wristbands to feel it. it felt weird -_- why its so heavy? 83 GRAMS OF 10 KARAT GOLD( around 2000$) there where 3 of them so its approxy 6000$, he even showed me the receipt for each item.
those i just listed was just the tip of the ice, here is the entire glacier:
not only she didnt have proofs fr her claims, she forgot they have a street camara outside ,next to the appartment. when she went to the police and claim the dates he alegedly abused her and beat her, the time stamples were incorrect. she clamied he push her against the bed out of anger, her injury showed it wasnt from the spot she claimed she got hit by.
i want you to understand: the justice system here ( not an opinion ,but a fact) leans favorably towards women which makes men here guilty, untill proven innocent. thats why he freaked out! he knew he was screwd because no onewould belive him.
his lawer calmed him down ( he was founded by his parents and boy he was a good one)) took all the evidence and said" my friend , you can actually counter sue her! BIG TIME. Michael and his lawer grinned devilish smile and so they did. they did the calculation and found out that the hell she just gave him? cost him more than 20000$ worth of property, tuition lost, a job, appartment, marriage...
add this the court fees, and his lawer, thats another 10000$, emotional damage , the divorce aggrement with the rabbi and on and on and on...( and yeah, they did exaggerated the numbers becaue...DUH.)
of course he did tried to settle with her outside the court but she declined BIG MISTAKE.
and holy crap you guys, maybe the system is a bit sexist, BUT trully hates liers...
apperaently the court ruled for his favor!!! she is now has to pay him 75000$! remeber the evidence she claimed to have? well, falsely accusing someone with fabricated evidence here apperently not a good idea. a profitable one in the very list.
she did tried to appeal but with no avail, and now has to pay or...jail :]
he told me that he had many illegal options that his family almost forced to, like running away through Cyprus back to the U.S but didnt want to. said because he wants to return to israel in the future he wont risk it because of one flawed POS.
i took him to the bus station so he can go back to his adoptive family that lives in a town nearby and said he will use his new sweet money one a coast to coast in U.S, live in a legallized state to start a professional weed farm\buisness ( i swear if he could marry the flower, he totally would) and hope that he and his dog ( that doggo is an angel) can start a new life.
i hope someone will read this, especially guys who went into similer hell like Michael had and chear up because justice DOES exist, we have to fight for it, just like the women do.
thanks for reading! stay safe!

2020.04.30 18:34 BanjoTheBear Should You Watch It? Spring 2020 Edition

Winter 2020 Edition’s Thread
(The following anime have their perspectives based on only two episodes rather than the typical three: Fugou Keiji)

Appare-Ranman!

Banjo’s Perspective

Must Watch It
On the cusp of revolutionary change within the automobile landscape, an insane cross-country race becomes the centerpiece for those willing to test their driving mettle. Appare, an engineering savant focused on making the impossible possible, enters the competition if for nothing else than to prove his unwavering conviction. Alongside his samurai buddy Kosame and their newfound native friend Hototo, this bizarre trio shift Appare-Ranman! into turbo mode from the starting line.
The anime has been almost strictly setup thus far, but what it has provided has been downright great. An intriguing premise, a historical setting, and some neat crossovers have established a strong beginning for the narrative overall. Likewise, main and supporting characters not only present fun personalities to follow but also swell interactions that vary up their connections and interpersonal goals. And thematically, the story and the cast combine to challenge those preconceived notions and the important motivations that drive people forward.
Whether the show will stretch itself too thin with the large cast remains to be seen, and Appare himself could end up a squandered opportunity if he is not tested enough during this trek. Until then, the colorful designs, the excellent audio direction, and the nice balance of comedy and drama, joined with everything else already stated, keeps it running as smooth as can be.

Another Perspective, courtesy of Almondjoy247:

Consider It
“The story follows a mad scientist / engineer (Appare) and a swordsman (Kosame) who become stranded in good ol’ Japanese speaking California after their steamboat breaks down in the middle of the ocean. In order to earn enough money to travel back to Japan, they have to build a car to enter a trans-America race. Hilarity ensues from wacky, trope filled characters and creative character design.
Appare-Ranman!’s biggest flaw is that the world, premise and character design (that I love) dictate that this show should be lighthearted and fun. So far however, the show has started off in a too serious tone, with a focus on the characters. Appare himself is a self centered asshole with the only redeemable trait being his eccentric gadget building. That apparently necessitates the audience liking him.
I’m really torn. I want to like the show. The premise of Wacky Races with a side of Steel Ball Run and Dr. Stone sounds like a home run but so far the only reason I’m continuing to watch it is because of the promise of races to come. If the ending of episode 3 is anything to judge by, my critiques are null and void, but so far I have had more fun picking apart the show watching it with my friends than actually watching it.”

Arte

Banjo’s Perspective

Consider It
The Renaissance was a time filled with crazy discoveries and wild chances. However, its focus on art and the arts has remained the most memorable. Arte (the girl) wishes to pursue her own dreams within this artistic space, and so Arte (the anime) tells the tale of her journey from sheltered noble to fledgling journeyman (and beyond).
Arte herself is a likable character whose optimism and willpower within the situation musters forth a smile. Unfortunately, many cracks in the canvass creep into the foreground. While its themes on female empowerment are nice to see and accurate to the era, the show leans really heavily into these elements. Too much so. To the point that they become less of a notable positive and more of an awkward negative, each fallback to “She’s a woman!” this and “Not for a lady!” that bringing with it extra eyerolls as subtlety vacates the area.
Unimpressive artistry and weak storybeats continue to blemish the work, but not all hope is lost. The prospect of interesting supporting characters may signal better interconnections among the characters, and those ham-fisted themes may level off as Arte’s journey progresses. Meaning, the show may just get its own Renaissance, too.

Another Perspective, courtesy of FelixisSparky:

Watch It
“Arte is a noble girl in 16th Century Florence, during the Italian Renaissance. Arte loves art, and so did her father, but with his death, Arte’s mother is more preoccupied with saving their family from financial collapse than obeying his wishes for their daughter. Solution: Marry her off to a wealthy family! Arte is naturally not pleased with the situation, and runs off to become an apprentice in a workshop and pursue art as a career, though she’ll have to overcome societal norms and patronization every step of the way.
You’ll either love Arte or hate it, there’s no middle ground. It’s a slow burn, with a female lead, with a main character starting off with nothing but a passion for art and the knowledge that if she fails, it’s all over. We know as little about her world as she does, helping immerse us in it. Most of the characters seem like actual people with personalities, except one minor character I will not name…
If you’re a fan of shows like Eizouken and Bookworm, you’ll love Arte. On the other hand, if you watch anime for epic battles, clever mind games, or plot, you’re in the wrong place. This is a character drama.
On that note, I’ll see you in the next weekly episode discussion, where we desperately hope there won’t be a romance sub-plot.”

BNA

Banjo’s Perspective

Watch It
Humans now coexist with beastmen, anthropomorphic animals who can choose to look like humans at will. At least, they should be coexisting, but brewing animosity has forced the beastmen to live away in a secluded city called (aptly enough) Anima City. Michiru wishes to get there and live a “normal” life, but not everything goes according to plan, letting Brand New Animal (or BNA for short) claw ahead.
The makings of an awesome project exist throughout much of the anime. Nifty animated sequences showcase cool action and floaty comedic moments. Its themes on racism and a survival-of-the-fittest mentality represent important topics for discussion. And the underlying mystery which backs the storyline paves the way for a plot that appears primed for crazy reveals and creative scenarios. All well and good.
Truth be told, a bland lighting scheme doesn’t do the visuals any favors despite the dual designs going on. Moreover, the characters lack a strong foundation, leaving their presence and their impact within the anime in dire need of better writing sooner rather than later. Despite these noted shortcomings, the earlier praising stands on all fours still, branding it as an above-average offering this season.

Another Perspective, courtesy of hpanandikar:

Watch It
“After centuries of persecution and hiding, beastmen have made Anima City their utopia. Michiru Kagemori, formerly human, now tanuki beastman, seeks refuge from hunters but soon discovers that all is not well in Anima City. She teams up with Shirou Ogami, a wolf beastman and all-round badass to investigate the city’s problems and find a cure for her own mysterious transformation. Michiru appears to be something heretofore unseen, a brand new animal if you will ... roll credits.
This newest offering by Trigger is action packed and unafraid to show the darker, more bestial side of this world. It spends the first few episodes building up the characters and setting the table for the main plot. You can look forward to a unique animation style with beautiful color palettes and a fluid character design that is Trigger’s signature. The OP is one of the best of the season with extra payoff for sharp viewers. The soundtrack is fantastic and is rounded out by an excellent ED by electropop musician AAAMYYY.
Some might find the MC annoying at first but I found her an engaging character with a great VA. The core plot also needs some time to get going. The only thing preventing me from giving it a ‘must watch’ is lack of easy availability due to Netflix’s release schedule.”

Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited

(English Title: The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED)

Banjo’s Perspective

Drop It
People on the frontlines of police work and detective jobs deal with danger daily. Haru Katou understands this sentiment, but he faces his tasks with fairness and with respect regardless. One day, a man by the name of Daisuke Kanbe joins the field, but, instead of worrying about the “right” way to handle things, he uses his seemingly (or maybe literally) unlimited amount of money to solve their predicaments. Thus, Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited rises in stock – only to quickly plummet.
To its credit, the anime has a clean art style that has helped with the realism of the setting. Otherwise, the rest of its checks bounce. The cast is largely forgettable or uninspiring, and the narrative has failed to instill a firm hook from the get-go.
Most egregious of all, however, is the very crux of the show. Going against (to some extent) the platitude “money cannot buy happiness” should act as an intriguing reversal, but there hasn’t been any exploration of this attitude. Rather, it comes off as infuriating, arrogant, and even mean with how the scenes play out.
That’s more than likely intended, preparing for a pivotal re-reversal later. But that’s then; this is now. That is to say, the anime sadly creates next to zero entertainment and instead files for bankruptcy.

Another Perspective, courtesy of UnraveledReality:

Must Watch It
“Money is power, and with enough money all your problems can go away as well as the problems of others. At least that is how Daisuke Kanbe seems to view the world as he seemingly recklessly does things in the way that he sees fit and spends the money to accomplish his goal. This causes conflict between he and his partner Haru, as he does not like the power of money and strives to fight crime legitimacy and in his eyes, ‘morally’.
Daisuke falls somewhere in the realm of Bruce Wayne with his fortune and James Bond with his lifestyle and an opening to match of beautiful women, expensive cars, and spy-eqsue depictions shadowing what may be to come. The costs incurred in the two episodes for Daisuke so far has been Ұ84.4B, a point signifying just how ‘unlimited’ his resources really are, and I am eager to see how high it goes by the end of the series.
Honestly it is hard to tell if a meaningful story will come from this show, especially from two episodes of an 11-episode series, but one thing is for sure that it will be fun and something refreshing to enjoy from beginning to end even if it may be forgettable when all is said and done.”

Gal to Kyouryuu

(English Title: Gal & Dino)

Banjo’s Perspective

Consider It
Kaede is a normal woman who lives a gyaru lifestyle. Like any other day, she wakes up to get ready for work. But, in nonchalant fashion, she sees a harmless blue dinosaur has become her roommate. With no other setup or explanations required, Gal to Kyouryuu begins.
Although “begins” is perhaps the incorrect phrasing; it would be better to say “does what it wants”. The first half of the anime is a mixture of incorporations. Lighthearted slice-of-life segments related to Kaede. Interstitial “YouTube videos” which feature Dino. Silly comedic exchanges shared by the two. Furthermore, the art style ranges from its typical almost-Western cartoony look to soft Claymation to creative in-between frames when loading the next part.
Believe it or not, the second half of the anime is even more out there. In fact, it’s so out there it probably cannot be defined as “anime” any longer because it simply isn’t. So, the project coalesces into a ludicrous amalgamation that does what it wants and has to be seen to be believed.
Yet, this wackiness is fun. Weird, sure, but fun. Kaede is inherently a good person. Dino is a straightforward “character”. The lightsaber and airhorn sound-effects are hilarious. In short, this gal and this dinosaur form a formidable duo.

Another Perspective, courtesy of higi1024:

Watch It
“As a snobby source readerTM, I was not expecting anything exceptional from this. Considering that the manga was rather short form (8 pages/chapter), I expected an unremarkable (but fun!) short around 5 minutes long. Finding out that these were full length episodes piqued my interest and I got much more than I bargained for.
While the show is indeed keeping true to the short fun stories of the manga, it is also going beyond to introduce a new dimension (in more ways than one) to the story, essentially turning this into an anime-original work. The manga-original stories are cute as intended and can be watched as a respectable stand-alone show, but the secondary plot is where the real meat of the series is building up. It blends together meme-ery and a progressive plot that’ll keep you wanting more.
Now as somebody who was not a fan of pop team epic, I only realized afterwards that this show was being directed by the same gentleman. I will say that there are certain meme elements (especially sound effects) that are used, but it is not at the same levels of “random skits and jokes” as pop team epic
All in all, good combination of cute show with an intriguing plot. Come for the cute dino, stay for the airhorn.”

Gleipnir

Banjo’s Perspective

Drop It
Golden coins. Vending machines. Monstrous transformations. Shuiichi Kagaya is a normal dude who finds himself (for better or for worse) involved with these details against his knowledge. Claire, a fellow student and resident maniac, has said knowledge. With nobody else to turn to, Shuiichi teams up with Claire for their Gleipnir adventure, melding into a pitiful project.
Pretty much everything in the show is a wash. It pins itself as an “ecchi” series, but such content has been uncreative and repetitive in nature. The main monster design is way too goofy to take seriously. The key force behind the plot is similarly ridiculous and sigh inducing. The mystery portion of the story is lame based on its nonsensical backing. The themes on identity and desire get lost amidst the harshness. And the characters are wholly unlikable, specifically Shuiichi for his stagnate characterization and Claire for her bullying behavior.
The anime contains only one real selling point: it isn’t afraid to follow through. But that’s definitely not enough to justify how outright subpar and near inexcusable the rest of the show has gone.

Another Perspective, courtesy of Vaadwaur:

Consider It
“The main character is a Disney mascot, his partner is an ecchi blond with freckles, and the design is just fricking weird. And yet, there is quite a bit to like here: it seems to know who it is with the copious fanservice shots, though obviously not aware enough to call this a parody or anything. I've really enjoyed how it has been animated, the fights felt weighty. But primarily, this show is completely weird. We are at making Parasyte seem normal type of weird.
My suspicion is that this is a love it or hate it type show for most folks. I like the style choices they made but not everyone will. The fanservice, again, is nearly ever present. And this looks to be a very violent show. The plot wants you to take its word that it is going to get around to making sense but we haven't seen it tip its hand yet. But HanaKana is voicing a girl with a communication disorder so that's a huge plus!”

Houkago Teibou Nisshi

(English Title: Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater)

Banjo’s Perspective

Consider It
Hina Tsurugi, her mother, and her father have moved back to the seaside place that they once called home. Hina loves arts and crafts, so she makes it her mission to join the relevant club at her new school. However, a chance encounter here and a random creature there push her into a completely unwanted hobby: fishing. Yuuki, Makoto, and Natsumi welcome Hina to their group, and Houkago Teibou Nisshi casts its line into the water.
The fishes do not bite right away, for the first episode is decidedly slow and without much merit. But subsequent episodes have started to reel the audience in. The imparted wisdom about fishing rods, fishing techniques, and fishing etiquette string together a solid backbone for the slice-of-life events to rely on. Its cuteness and its comedy refrain from overbearing the relaxing mood it strives to achieve. And the production values, from the ukulele tracks to the detailed artistry, demonstrate a keen sense of style.
The anime foregoes deeper themes, so it won’t win any writing awards during its run. Also, Hina and the others are a bit on the plain side of things, hurting their outreach as fun characters. But the former isn’t exactly expected in a CGDCT show, and the latter has them working well as a group in comparison. All in all, their diary has not broken quite yet.

Another Perspective, courtesy of myaccountforweebcrap:

Watch It
“First things first, as a part of the Cute Girls Doing Cute Things subgenre, Houkago Teibou Nisshi is not exactly groundbreaking; If you’ve already watched shows about high school girls in a club for outdoors activities (eg. Yuru Camp), then you pretty much know where this show is going.
With that being said, sticking to a known format is not a bad thing in itself as long as the show knows what it is. Fortunately, Houkago Teibou Nisshi is the type of show that knows exactly what it is; a fun summery show about the four members of the ‘Teibou’ club — the fishing club of their high school.
Set in Ashikita, a coastal town in southern Japan, the show has a chill, summer vibe that perfectly matches not only its setting, but it also matches the patience, calmness and quietness who are integral to the fishing experience.
The OST, the background art and even the character writing are built to match this overall tone. Unlike many of its CGDCT counterparts, there isn’t really a genki girl in the cast nor an overly cutesy, high-pitched voice character either who would be an annoying mismatch against the chill atmosphere.
Overall, if you need a relaxing, summer-ambiented show about high school girls enjoying a hobby in this tiring times, give Houkago Teibou Nisshi a chance.”

Kakushigoto

Banjo’s Perspective

Must Watch It
Parents sometimes hide information from their children that they can do without. Kakushi Gotou – the titular character of Kakushigoto and a father to his daughter Hime Gotou – agrees wholeheartedly. To her, he is a salaryman. But, in reality, he is a semi-famous lewd-creating manga author. Kakushi never wants Hime to find out about his profession or his creations to keep her safe and innocent. Inevitably, then, this ideal becomes the focal point of this absurd yet touching story.
This anime upholds high execution across the page. A soft, simple artistic direction gives the actual animation and the swift sequences a silly flair and a comedic edge. Narratively, it succeeds with its assortment of creative scenarios and with its thematic introspection of being a dad. The characters themselves shine bright: Kakushi is an upstanding guy, Hime is a cute kid, and the side cast introduce their own fun.
Simultaneously, a future subplot of sorts hints at further dramatic developments that (in a paradoxical current retrospection) instill a new viewpoint to the entire tale. Altogether, the anime strikes at the right emotions with the right ideas, drawing up a fantastic show without a doubt.

Another Perspective, courtesy of MightyMouseVsBatBat:

Consider It
“Kakushigoto is a story about secrets. On the surface it's the secret our main character, Gogou Kakushi, is keeping from his daughter, Hime. Kakushi works as a mangaka and is the creator of a very popular but lewd series. Underneath is the secret that the show itself is keeping from the viewer. There are a series of hints dropped during the OP, the ED, and through the narrative that some event may be coming that will change the world for these characters.
It's this underlying secret that prevents me from giving this show a wholehearted "Watch it!" I have already fallen in love with Hime, and I would love to share an after-work drink with Kakushi and his crew. I'm not prepared for the feelings that I'm sure will burst forth if something bad happens. The anime is scheduled to reveal its ending at the same time as the manga, which will then complete its run.
But it's also this secret that prevents me from rating Kakushigoto as "Drop it" as well. The show as itself is standard slice-of-life fare and most of the scenarios are familiar and the new perspectives are thin. The fundamental components: the character designs, the animation, the music, and the voice acting, are all good, but not exceptional. I keep watching because I need to know the secret. I don't know if I want to know, but I have to know.”

Kami no Tou

(English Title: Tower of God)

Banjo’s Perspective

Drop It
The promise of granted wishes awaits at the end of Kami no Tou. A girl named Rachel vies to see her own wish come true, leaving behind Bam, a boy whose whole life revolves around her and her alone. Incapable of accepting her departure, Bam commits himself to climbing the tower to chase after Rachel, putting his courage and his determination to the test. Except the anime has already received a failing grade.
Its low marks pop up as mediocrity in most spots. For example, the meager, off-hand world-building comes off as inconsequential in the grander context of the story. Then the main characters have little going for them, both in terms of personas and their contributions. And the random inclusion of comedic asides has almost no place next to the murder and the near-death events, serving to prove its tone-deaf direction.
Worse still, the narrative has incredibly asinine motivations: “Because he’s cute”, “I’m just bored”, “It’s only luck”, “Instinct”. These reasonings for why scenes transpire indicate lazy storytelling at best and shoddy depth at worst.
Not to mention a weak thematic angle, flaccid artistry, and unremarkable events. Indeed, this game of Jenga is mortal, wounded, and bleeding out fast.

Another Perspective, courtesy of aefii:

Must Watch It
“In Tower of God, Bam is looking for his one and only friend Rachel, who made the choice to enter and to climb the floors of the ‘Tower’. Bam therefore goes after her in the tower where the summit is the object of much lust. Many fights await him during his quest.
While the story seems quite generic described that way, many things make the show unique and enjoyable. Starting with the colorful art that is a feast for the eyes. The characters all have different reasons to climb the tower and their first interactions with the main character are very interesting and promising.
It would be criminal not to emphasize Kevin Penkin’s (notably known for his work on Made in Abyss and The Rising of the Shield Hero) work on the soundtrack. It is definitely one of the strongest points of the show, the music immerses us perfectly in the heavy and mysterious atmosphere of Tower of God.
I highly recommend this to anyone. If the overall quality remains the same, it will be without a doubt one of the anime of the year.”

Listeners

Banjo’s Perspective

Drop It
Within Listeners, regular folk fear the Earless, nebulous giants that destroy anything nearby. Echo, a scrap sifter, seems to enjoy his unenviable job, if only because it gives him the opportunity to tinker away with his fancy Equipment. One day, he stumbles upon an amnesiac girl sleeping beneath a mound of rubble, naming her Myuu. She is a Player, and the two team up to move Echo out of his stagnate rut and to uncover the unknown past of Myuu herself.
But, metaphorically, the volume knob has been turned down.
That premise seems interesting enough, and it is, but the anime contains too many other inadequacies to justify its original concept. Less-than-stellar CG builds and stiff artistry prevent grander appeal. Even worse, on the sound side of the production values, the music and the audio design have not reached remotely close to the impressive threshold. And its awful tries at tense battles mute more of its entertaining chances.
The narrative has plotted out a solid path for Echo and Myuu to follow, but it’s a huge uphill battle now. Echo and Myuu are ineffective protagonists; side characters miss out on adequate time to be meaningful; themes on purpose have wilted away. What’s left, then, is an anime that just isn’t listening.

Another Perspective, courtesy of whispywoods:

“From the creator behind the award-winning mecha series Eureka Seven, Listeners is a new original mecha with a lot of similarities to its predecessor. In a world roamed by shadowy monsters called the Earless, mankind’s defenders are people called Players: those born with an audio jack in their body that can connect to an amp-mecha to fight the Earless with music-powered mecha battles. If that sounds awesome, it’s because it is!
This show has been described by staff as being for anyone who is a fan of ‘music, mecha, or both’. It contains numerous references to musical artists, and it's fun trying to catch them all each episode! I'm not well-versed in the mecha genre, but I find the battles in this show engaging and fun.
For me, the characters are the best part of the show. Mu, the heroine, is a headstong punk-rock amnesiac. Echo, the protagonist, is a mecha fanboy who plays support/mechanic to Mu's battles. It's refreshing to see the usual gender dynamic switched around, and the relationship between the two is adorable and sweet. The supporting characters of the series are also intriguing, and I want to see more of them!
All in all, I would definitely recommend at least checking out this series. It's always good to see an original series with such potential, and I can't wait to see where the story goes next!”

Nami yo Kiitekure

(English Title: Wave, Listen to Me!)

Banjo’s Perspective

Must Watch It
Minare Koda spends her days working at a dead-end restaurant job and her nights drinking her sorrows into ranting oblivion. It so happens that, during a particularly fateful alcoholic mission, she inadvertently pulls herself into the field of local radio. Nami yo Kiitekure captures this story, chronicling Minare and her struggles with brilliant delivery.
This anime maintains this brilliance both in its construction and in its execution. The comedy carries wit, inventiveness, and charm, fostering laugh after laugh within each episode. Great dialogue allows its scenes to flourish with ease. Its niche premise provides ever more intrigue. Neat artistry and slick animation bolster the show further. The characters feel real and personable.
And, as a separate yet equally vital note, massive shoutouts to the voice actress of Minare herself: Riho Sugiyama. Despite her newbie status, she has presented early here a phenomenal performance and earns praise as well.
Praising of this project continues. The adult cast is refreshing to say the least. The themes on having a voice and speaking one’s mind are relatable. The music selections, the romance pieces, and the writing chops are positive, positive, and positive.
Simply put, this anime is one of the best this season, deserving a return greeting to its own waving.

Another Perspective, courtesy of KVShady:

Watch It
“Nami yo Kiitekure is the latest show from Sunrise, who made genre defining classics such as Gundam, Love Live and while it may fall short of those series, I think it is a fun watch, especially for fans of adult workplace comedies such as Wotakoi
The story is about 26 year old Minare Koda, who experiences heartbreak and decides to drink the night away, rambling her frustrations to a radio show producer who is impressed by her way of speaking clearly and communicating her thoughts in an interesting manner. After a set of hilarious events, Minare decides to accept the role of a late night radio show host and the series deals with how she handles this new and unexpected change in her life, while balancing people from her current workplace and her previous workplace, a curry shop.
While the characters are generally good, it is Minare, voiced by newbie seiyuu Sugiyama Riho, who absolutely steals the show with her charming personality and boisterous radio presence. The supporting cast is diverse and have a fair bit of personality, making them more interesting and multi-faceted.
Animation is well done, as expected of Sunrise and while the OST is nothing special, it gets the job done. So, my recommendation is watch the first few episodes and judge for yourselves if this is a wave you're willing to listen and follow.”

Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…

(English Title: My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!)

Banjo’s Perspective

Watch It
Visual novels are a staple genre of gaming and reading hobbies. What’s not as common is being teleported into a fantasy world that emulates one of these VNs. And what’s unique would be replacing the evil villain of the tale and changing the direction it goes to avoid the destined bad endings. I.e., Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…
Such a story has been filled to the brim with great decisions. A water-color-esque art style paints the setting in a relevant way. Nice setup all-around has created a good stepping-stone for the rest of the episodes. And the comedy and the drama aren’t too wild one way or the other, keeping things balanced.
Maaya Uchida, the voice actress for Katarina, also earns shoutouts this season for performing multiple variations of the same lead role in a flawless manner.
Several inherent restrictions keep the anime from being a super-high contender. The characters go without the most complex arcs imaginable. Dutiful themes aren’t paramount to the experience. And the true-harem circle going on probably means a definitive winner will not emerge anytime soon. In other words, it’ll most likely be pure hijinks and not much else.
Even so, the project has no glaring flaws otherwise, so these hijinks see hilarity and smiles – not doom – in their future.

Another Perspective, courtesy of NeoTheMute:

Consider It
“For many weebs, the idea of being reincarnated as the protagonist of a dating sim would be a dream come true. Unfortunately for our hapless heroine, she finds herself in the body of Catarina Claes, main antagonist of the dating sim Fortune Lover. As she recalls the details of the game’s plot, our heroine realizes that every possible ending will bring her either death or exile. Thus, her only option is to meddle with the script and avoid all of the doom flags.
The show gives a unique look at how a protagonist can affect the world around them: through our heroine’s memories, we’re shown how events play out in the game, where Catarina is cartoonishly evil. Compare that to the actions of our heroine, who uses Catarina’s life for the better of those around her. She is a very active, if unpredictable protagonist, and it’s enjoyable to watch her positively affect the supporting cast.
The stakes, however, don’t feel very high. Most of the bad endings for Catarina are achieved by acting like a monster; our heroine is fortunately a decent human being. This undermines the premise a bit and spoils a lot of the tension. What we're left with, then, is a goofy reverse harem with the faint possibility of doom looming on the horizon. It has merit enough, but you won’t be missing anything mind-blowing.”

Yesterday wo Utatte

(English Title: Sing “Yesterday” for Me)

Banjo’s Perspective

Watch It
Rikuo Uozumi leads a normal, everyday life. He has a close friend or two, his job as a convenient-store clerk isn’t quite exciting, and photography is a hobby for him. This realistic simplicity likewise categorizes Shinako, Haru, and Rou, the other prominent characters of Yesterday wo Utatte. Their relationships define this story – including the drama that their interactions cause.
It cannot be understated how grounded the show portrays itself. Besides a crow with a limp talon getting summoned from afar on occasion, the narrative and the presentation settle on realism. Talking in the park. Caring for a sick person. Meeting with family. The events and the connections want to be real for the viewer, so these scenes stick to this mantra.
Same goes for the romance involved and the reactions which occur. While that realism motif gives the anime its heading, the thematic takes on shared bonds and love in general supply it with the slight dramatic guidance required to make this a story worth telling.
Realistically, however, the project is not without a couple of worries. Their “random” encounters often come off as very coincidental. Almost too much so. It layers an unnatural force within the narrative that ironically goes against its realistic outlook. Similarly, neither the scenes nor the characters have been all that captivating (let alone outstanding), for more groundwork on both fronts is likely needed.
Worries aside, the nice production values, the apparent maturity, and the purposeful decision to skip an opening track for more content ensure the anime remains a good option today and the days forthcoming.

Another Perspective, courtesy of unprecedentedwolf:

Watch It
“Early adulthood is a particularly fascinating stage of life, childhood naivete still lingering as one gets hit with new wave of responsibilities and expectations. Not everyone finds themselves adequate, some fall through the cracks and exist on the outskirts of society, perhaps with a job more fitting for a student than a graduate, they keep on living in a world that just doesn’t seem right.
Such personalities make the bulk of the cast of ‘Sing “Yesterday” For Me’. It’s a relatively simple romance/drama, with all characters having some sort of affinity for one another and emotional baggage that makes it hard to form connections. What makes it stand out is the melancholic, grungy atmosphere, and the washed-out color scheme, appropriate for the turn-of-millenia period during which the original comic book series started.
I think whether you enjoy this show will mostly depend on how you like the characters - whether you find their struggles relatable and their awkwardness charming, or if you think they are just boring cliches, bumbling around aimlessly instead of getting to the point. Personally I’m greatly enjoying the show - it’s quiet humour, weird dialogues and shots with almost palpable sense of longing are tugging right at my heartstrings. It kinda reminds me of ‘Just Because’ with themes mixed from something like ‘Solanin’ or ‘Pumpkin and Mayonnaise’, making it a rather unique position.”

2020.04.05 21:52 Shaun6997 The losers.

During the course of this manga, we have met a lot of people, who I shall now refer to as the losers. These brave warriors have all fought valiantly, but have lost the battle for love. But they lived to fight another day. Anyway, theatrics out of the way, I'm just gonna basically look at the people who have been rejected in some form, and how it worked out.
Rui is of course first. Although never technically rejected, she did face some trouble with Nat first leading her on, and then pulling the family card afterwords. Of course, things worked out for her in the end. What did she do right, where others have failed in this series? She lived with him. As much as she is a great girl, and all that. Her being a step sibling gave her an advantage girls like Momo didn't have. In fact, living in the same house already means skipping lots of steps you normally would need to take when dating someone.
Next is Momo. A great character, who Nat honestly didn't deserve. She liked Nat, and immediately went on the offensive, eventually laying everything on the line and confessing to Nat, and literally barring everything for him. Unfortunately, Nat then proceeds to run away and leaves her there standing naked. But our MC is a great person, it would be impossible to at least give her the chance to get dressed. What did she do wrong? Nothing. She tried her best and lost, and that's perfectly fine. Luckily, she found someone who had eyes only for her, and would give her the world. Rikkun, a man of culture.
Al A goofy guy, if he wasn't one drink away from being a rapist, I'd like him. The poor soul gets pulled into a game of Rui stringing him along and dropping him. However, despite realizing he is but a tool, he still does his best and confesses in front of the entire school. Took balls, I give him that. What did he do wrong? I don't think you should chase after a person who reminds you of a past love, its unhealthy. Things worked out for him though, as he reunited with the girl he never apparently stopped loving. Team Rui, give him shit for not moving on, like you do with Hina her 3 month relationship.
Miu. Honestly, I figured she and Nat would end up together for like 5 minutes. A forbidden love, Miu never really got rejected, but she was never allowed to even stand in the ring and fight. Sasuga needs to tell us what happened here, she seems a lot more comfortable with her sensei.
Shuu The guy who cheated on his wife. When he finally left her, Hina wasn't just there waiting for him. What did he do wrong in this situation? He should have faced the situation honestly. He should have left the unhappy marriage, honestly tried to have a relationship with Hina, and not be that conniving guy he was at the begining. He cared more for Hina than our MC does, so he should have done things properly.
Yuka Being homosexual is tough. It's not a simple task falling in love and having the opportunity to be with them. Things are just all kinds of complicated. Another brave soul unable to even stand in the ring. May the heavens shine upon her difficult journey.
Miyabi A great character. Everything from her close mindedness, to her naivety about everything love related, and how her character went through a growth. You shouldn't go after a taken guy though, as Team Rui likes to point out, but she did, and bravely stood and took her lose like a champ. What did she do wrong? Well, her timing was just bad. She wasn't gonna get a guy who loved someone else. A note though, this rejection is an event people point at as a sign of Nat's growth. Since I'm the salty guy in this sub, let me point out why its not that great a thing. All we see here is Nat wanting his cake, and eating it. How do you reject someone, and then basically force them to still be friends with you. Emotional blackmail. "I can't be with you. But fuck your feelings of getting hurt, don't start talking shit about things being awkward, I want us to be like we always were, fuck your broken heart" haters will say I'm wrong here, but that is what happened. Anyways, ignoring Nat's involvement and gross behaviour, Miyabi seems to have taken the experience as something she can use to grow from. Good on her.
Kajita The man hated by the fandom simply for being a great match for Rui. He didn't do anything wrong, didn't cross any lines, and back off after he got. My heart goes out to this guy. He was a decent guy, sad that he only served as a tool to show the end couple being faithful to each other. This man has had a tough year. He gets rejected, then he unintentionally sets up a series of events that gets the girl he likes pregnant. And now, he is making the food for the wedding of that girl. My condolences. He will most likely be at the wedding too.
Long post. Thank you for reading until this point. Of course, I do expect some people unhappy with my post. Being team Hina means I care not for writing, and I have no right to criticize, or want a satisfying end for my favourite girl. I expect paragraphs bashing Hina in an attempt to remedy me shitting on the holier than thou Nat.
Anyways, this was just a brief look at the people who were rejected, and how it affected their lives afterwards. It's mostly based on my own opinions, so I understand people might disagree, and I am open to listening to those thoughts.
Lol, another week of downvotes for myself. Might just call myself Hikigaya Hachiman.
edit: used a wrong name lol, Subaru instead of Rikkun, great looking out though.

2020.03.25 15:52 Ninpanja I just watched S1 and S2 again. I took note of everything, so here's a Detailed Summary of EVERYTHING that has happened so far.

_________________Season 1___________________
Volunteers club events:
1- Several small volunteering activities.
2- Helped hayama's group become friends.
3- Kawasaki saki.
4- Chiba summer trip, helped tsurumi rumi by destroying the group (Hayama doesn't like feeling like Hachiman, playing the villian altruistically)
5- Sagamin's request, personally accepted by Yukino, helping her chair the festival.
Volunteers decisions:
1- Bla bla bla.
2- Observed that they weren't friends without hayama, so took out hayama out of their group to make them real friends.
3- Emotional blackmailing by 8man's sister. Also, told to get a scholarship.
4- Helped her get back into the group by destroying the group itself. She wanted to be part of the group, but what was happening to her, she also did to others. Their group was only because of this little game of shunning others. So, destroying the group's friendship itself helped her get back into the "group"
5- Haruno was also chairwoman of festival committee, so Yukino joined, following her footsteps. Sagami wanted to famous through this, but didn't want to work, so she 'hired' yukino to be vice-president. But yukino slowly took the spotlight. Defeated at her purpose of fame, sagami decided to make it harder for yukino to work, so she hired haruno. She also decreased the committee members and wouldn't come herself, dumping all the work on herself, by forcing the thought that it's 'teamwork'. Yukino takes all the work on herself and gets sick. 8man shows her how he would handle all this for max efficiency. 8man makes himself the villian and makes everyone else realize that they are slacking off through some clever wordings. His repo is decreased but max work efficiency is achieved as everyone wants to disprove his idea, so they work to make the festival a success. Sagami wants to hear consolation after the festival, so hayama wants to sugarcoat all her wrongs to get her to do the ending announcement. She would have been persuaded even without 8man's interference, but he decided to play the villian again and pointed out that she was doing all this for attention. This was done so that her actual request to Yukino about 'personal growth' could be completed. This made 8man the bad guy in the whole school.
Major relationships-changing events:
-- 8man comes to know that it was yui's dog that he saved. Thinks that Yui was only acting nice to him because of guilt. Hence he severed the relationship to free her of guilt. He went back to his loner self. However, Yui did not think that way. She genuinely wanted to be friends with 8man and Yukino. Thus they started from the beginning after an honest conversation.
-- Yui starts to have feelings for 8man. He helped her get out of her bad habit of always following the crowd, in a sense, saving her. She loves his sense of ingenuity and wants to take their friendship to another level. Thus, she invites 8man to the fireworks festival. 8man senses her intent and subtly rejects but is forced by komachi. Later, yui wants to confess but the phone rings and 8man tells her to pick it up, implying that he doesn't want her to confess and possibly ruin their current friendship status, which he has grown to like [This is a push from a genuine friendship to fake one as they aren't being true with their feeling and evolving with them]. 2-She also makes a move on him, kinda, during the festival, inviting him to invite her on a date to honeytoast. 8man catches on and says he needs time to think.
-- 8man sees yukino's car and identifies it as the same one that hit him. He consoles himself that he doesn't dwell on the past and decides to move on. However, he can't help but think that Yukino never told him (lied) about the situation herself. He had come to admire Yukino and thought that they both had one thing in common - not lying. This made him realize that even Yukino can lie sometimes. This makes him hate himself as his judgement was once again off-mark. He never trusted anyone, so that he wouldn't be disappointed, yet he chose to expect things out of someone again and was dissapointed again. He starts to hate himself for trusting Yukino. Thus, he once again slips into his loner state. After the school festival, all of them get to know each other better and accept each other. However, they play just like the old days, like friends. It's all good, but 8man realizes that their feeling have evolved, even if love isn't involved, and carrying out like before is a fake play, but he is content with it for now because it is comfortable and satisfying.
_________________Season 2___________________
Volunteer club events:
1- Helping Tobe date Hina + Help Hina not be confessed to.
2- Helping iroha not become president (along with komachi's request to not let yukino and yui become president)
3- Iroha's request for help with the christmas event (accepted personally by 8man).
Volunteers decisions:
1- They set up the event and the place, but through certain signs, 8man realizes that Tobe is gonna be rejected. So, in order to protect their friendship by preventing this confession, on the request of Hayama and Hina, he instead confesses to Hina on the spot. 8man gets rejected. Tobe finds out that Hina won't date anyone rn, without getting rejected, and their whole friends group is protected.
2- 8man wants to screw over the speech and take the blame for her loss himself. Yukino hates that idea and proposes to contest herself. This decision is also because she needed a reason to not be like her sister. Yui didn't like this decision as it would destroy the club, so she decides to contest herself too. Seeing them both trying to protect what they love, 8man tries another method by trying to persuade iroha to become president. 8man comes up with brilliant reasons for her to become president and persuades her, thus he protects the club. Yukino is happy that the club is saved but now she can't prove herself different from her sister, which is what she was hoping for, so she's a little mad with 8man. NOTE: Yukino finally wanted to make the move to change her ways here, but 8man is rebellious to change his way. In his rebel, he stomps over yukino's plan without knowing. Later, everyone acts like normal, which Yukino can't understand and hence she also becomes super reserved in order to not hurt anyone, seeing how 8man is slowly trying to change his ways.
3- 8man accepts this request personally because everytime the club accepts a request, they go through alot of trouble with themselves. In order to preserve it's state like it is (broken but somehow held together), 8man accepts it personally. He doesn't want to hurt Yui and Yukino anymore. However, when they later make up after the 'genuine' speech, 8man finally asks the girls to help.
Major relationship-changing events:
-- Yui keeps on hitting on 8man through small hints but 8man doesn't consider the possibility that a girl can like him. Meanwhile, Yukino is still conscious about how she's viewed and still boxes up her feelings. The bitter-sweet real-fake frienship continues.
-- After the Kyoto trip, it is pretty obvious to all of them that a love triangle exists between them. After fulfilling Hina's wish, 8man realizes that just like Hina wanted to protect her group (keeping it in it's fake state), 8man is also subconsiously protecting his friendship with the girls by covering it up all with lies to himself. He realizes that he is being superficial himself too.
-- The kyoto incident also reveals that both the girls care for 8man and it really hurts them when he hurts himself in his process of helping others. [Note that by this time 8man feels alot terrible after every wish he fulfills] "How can you be so smart and yet not understand something so simple" (Yui). Hurting yourself for others is not worth it.
-- 8man is being superficial, wanting to save this friendship. Also, he wants to believe that his way of doing things is the best way(altho he has come to realize that it's hurting him and people around him, but he's not ready to accept that so easily). Yukino is being superficial by wanting to prevent 8man from hurting himself further, but covering that up with lies instead. She wants to disprove 8man's way of doing things.
-- Hayama wanted to return the favour to 8man by increasing 8man's repo infront of his childhood girl. He wants 8man to realize that his actions are hurting him and people around him, he should stop self-sacrificing himself. But 8man says he does it only because of his conviction, to never lie.
-- 8man protects the club from breaking, by making iroha president. This makes all three of them happy, but Yukino's reason to prove herself different from her sister is ruined, so she feels angry towards 8man.
-- Through all they've been through, 8man realizes that the clubroom is actually really broken. All they're doing is trying to act normal like nothing's happened. They're trying to keep this fake atmosphere going because they don't know how to progress.
-- 8man slowly realizes that his old ways were never really a solution. As people had pointed out to him, and by seeing that all the people he had helped were not truly happy, he starts to question his old ways and his ideal self he had imagined himself to be.
-- At the same time, yukino starts to reflect on everything she has done and comes to the conclusion that she had never helped anyone, just pretend that she knew everything and pretended that she was also helping people. She finds that she had always been pushing troubles onto others instead of fighting them herself
-- Episode 8: So basically, the girls hate it when Hikigaya hurts himself to solve other's problems. Therefore the group started to drift from each other because they didn't want to cause one another( and themselves) pain. Eventually Yukinon decided to sever ties from Hikigaya and told him he didn't have to come to the club anymore. The conversation with sensei was to tell Hiki that everyone gets hurt ,and he needs to understand that, and also that he needs to break though Yukinon's shell to make her understand that too. Then, when Hiki says he wants something genuine, he means a genuine relationship where he can share his desire to understand with one another, and not something fake like most friendships are. He doesn't want friends who are there just so he can feel better about himself or help him grow, but friends who aren't a burden on each other.
-- They made up after the 'genuine' speech. Although they're friends, but it has come to a stale-mate. Everyone is enjoying it.
-- Yukino is no longer trying to be like her sister, Haruno. But, hayama thinks that's not all. Maybe she is becoming too dependent on 8man / trying to be like him.
-- Haruno makes it clear for 8man that this stand-still friendship is not 'genuine', it's something far more sinister than trust. She implies that they have becone the very thing that they hated (hayama's group), and that she liked the old Yukino better, who didn't hide her feelings. They had stagnated after the 'genuine' speech. By this time, both Yui and Yukino clearly care about 8man and get kind of upset everytime he is with the other, especially Yui.
-- The Big Episode 13: Yui asks Yukino and 8man to go on a date. She has decided what she wants and thus wants to enjoy for the last time with all 3 of them together. As, once they all put their feelings out in the open, their friendship will no longer be the same. After the date, Yui makes a proposal/Request : She could help Yukino out of her current situation, and that would also be the answer to their own relations too. If she solves those problems, she would win the competition and can thus order the loser to do whatever she wants (lets imply she wants 8man). This is why she calls herself a dirty player, she wants it all. She doesn't want to destroy their friendship, but still wants their future together. If Yukino accepted the request, Yui could win it.
OR...
She decided to sacrifice her feelings to let Yukino win. She basically wanted to force Yukino to give 8man the cookies. By seeming dirty, 8man would be forced to reject her feelings. When he does reject her proposal, she say"I had a feeling you'd say that". This implies that she wanted to get rejected so that she wouldn't get in Yukino's way and Yukino could move her relation with 8man forward without worrying about Yui's feelings. This would keep the group intact, while allowing things to remain genuine(acting upon those hidden feelings)
TLDR : 8man wants something genuine. He finds some genuine friends, but slowly their relations and feelings for each other starts to progress while they want to remain the same. Their friendship stagnates. This brings out many problems between them, some of which they solve, others are yet to be solved.

2020.02.21 20:14 lootsmuggler [US][SELLING]Many Individual Volumes of Manga/Anime [W]$2.50-$2.80 each Paypal

Images: https://imgur.com/a/BURkEmU

Most of the manga are in the grade range of G2-G4. Some of the manga have parenthetical notes about their condition and are generally in G1-G3 condition. Ex-library manga are listed separately and are automatically G1 regardless of their condition. I'm selling these manga cheaply enough that I don't want to answer 20 questions about each one.
I also have a small amount of anime available for the same price. Anime are either new in shrinkwrap or used but tested. Each one is subtitled or dubbed in English.
My inventory is separated into several categories: 18+ manga (non-yaoi), 18+manga (yaoi), regular manga, anime, ex-library manga, and ex-library anime.
After we agree to what you're buying in the thread, I'll need you to PM me your email address. Then I'll send you a paypal invoice.

Pricing:
  1. Regular manga/anime cost $2.80 each. Ex-library manga/anime cost $2.50 each.
  2. Shipping and handling: $3.50 for 5 or fewer items, free for 6 or more items.
  3. No international shipping.
  4. If you buy 10 or more manga, you will receive a 5% discount.
  5. If you live in Pennsylvania, please tell me in your PM. I have to charge 7% sales tax. Because I live in Allegheny County, it's 7% regardless of which part of Pennsylvania you live in.
* Starred manga are larger than normal, which matters if your shelves only have so much space. Smaller manga are NOT starred.

My inventory is separated into several categories: 18+ manga (non-yaoi), 18+manga (yaoi), regular manga, anime, light novels, ex-library manga, and ex-library anime.

2020.02.07 22:33 lootsmuggler [US][SELLING]Many Individual Volumes of Manga/Anime [W]$2.50-$2.80 each Paypal

Images: https://imgur.com/a/zEbgzB4
