Hi! Thank you all for your suggestions.
Apologies for my formatting, I'm not great with computers. Do let me know if I could do it better.
Let me know if people are keen for an international book club! We could make a sub for it or just have a weekly thread here? :)

EDIT: u/WillOCarrick very kindly made this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fG5Ziipb_aiFzuj_HFozzK-8DyczhVqFEAJx40xKBzw/edit?usp=sharing
So we can edit and add to it directly! When we've got one for every country, I'll make a sub and we can start going through them book club style :)

My thoughts:This season was EPIC!!! So many twists and turns, but such a solid season. Pre-swap, I was pretty devastated that both Hinata and Meli went home, but I guess there's nothing much you can do when your in the minority. The tribe expansion really shook things up. Calypso stayed in the same placement again, thanks to Harvey. The Angkor tribe was so dysfunctional, and I was super sad that both Flow and Christine went. Speaking of Christine, that idol play had me devastated, but at least I've got an idol for Ghost Island. The merge was hectic. Monique and Jax's idol play was epic, but definitely didn't expect Tegan to go home! What a twist! But then they both turned on each other and Monique went home. R.obbed g.oddess you could say. The next top go was Wilma, who didn't have a massive impact on the game, but I must say, I'm super impressed in the way she improved her social game. It was horrible in Borneo, so to see her become such a social threat, was so great. Poor Peter, he had no idea what was going on the entire time, and it was so funny tbh. Nadja didn't do too much, disappointing as I loved every minute of her in Philippines. THEN ONE OF THE BIGGEST FLIPS HAPPENED IN CASTAWAY AND JAX WENT HOME! I did not see this coming. I thought he and A.Z. were going to get to the end, but Odette and Truong were not having that at all. Jax was so ruthless this season, such an opposite to his laid back performance in Cagayan. Then our frontrunner, A.Z., went home. Such a quick and ruthless downfall for such a great player. He really ruled this season, so he definitely did not disappoint. He was in charge of the entire merge, so it was definitely a shock that he didn't win. Then Nora went. She was basically A.Z.'s goat the entire game, but was super boring. What happened Nora? And then we had a tie breaker with Harvey and Truong. Harvey was such an interesting player. He was a part of some amazing blindsides, and definately adapted to new-school gameplay, but is still a old-schooler at heart. A favorite of mine. The Final 3 this season was, tbh, one of the best Final 3's we've had in a long time. The winner was such a great break from the UTR female's we've had in recent seasons, she definately is a great winner. Truong was such a shock to me. His social game was on point, and even had a good physical game. He was so good this season, I expected him to win. Dan was really UTR this season, but still likable. He is a great social player, but not the most entertaining of the bunch, even though I do like him. Odette rocked this season. She definitely earned her spot as the winner. She was in the majority a lot, but after being on the outs in a few blindsides, she made some of her own, and managed to orchestrate Jax and A.Z.'s downfalls. She had such a glow-up, and I was surprised as to how great her gameplay actually was, especially since she's an old-school player. This season is a Top 10 season, so I'm very keen for next season...KAOH RONG!!

KALABAW
MATSING
TANDANG
What was your opinion of the season? Who would you like to see return in the future? Comment down below.
My thoughts:I REALLY liked this season, it was super fun. The three tribes were both really cool and were all unique. I was surprised and disappointing that Emma was the first to go AGAIN, how unlucky is she? She actually showed a lot of promise in her small stint in Castaway, so she's basically the Francesca of Castaway. Jay-Dawg and Gavin were fun to root for in the early stages of the game, and Noah definitely got his comeuppance after turning on Emma. I really liked Tandang, my clear favorite of the three tribes, so I was kind of worried when they split up. But they ruled the pre-swap tribe. Delores' alliance of Ximena and Yale took control of Matsing, whilst Quinn subtly split up Kalabaw, which really impacted the rest of the game. Quinn was smart in getting out Carly, and then passing the blame onto Hayley, and that made the pre-merge much more enjoyable. Carly showed promise for sure, and Hayley was a cool silent trainwreck to watch. Nadja was a REALLY fun pre-merge character, again, another fun trainwreck to watch. She was in full control of the original Matsing tribe, and I loved her trio with Whitney and Graham. She is a big contender for Second Chances. The merge was really hectic. Teddy actually made a good move on turning on the Matsings, because it was clear from the get-go that he couldn't trust them, but I don't think he was prepared for Quinn going back to the original Tandang, which even I was surprised happened, seeing as she seemed to be quite safe in the Kalabaw tribe. Jared and Darren both showed promise, but there wasn't much they could do against the Tandang/Matsing alliance. Nizaam was a cool leader of the Kalabaw's and I liked how friendly and a good subtle social player he turned out to be. Also a good physical threat too. I was surprised that Graham went home next, a massive blindside that I didn't see coming. A really great move by Diantha for rallying the girls (except Whitney) to get out Graham, who was a massive threat. Graham was a super strategic player that I loved to see. He was in control of almost all of the tribes he was on, except NuMatsing, and I would love to see him return. His only flaw is that he underestimates others WAY too much, which of course led to his downfall. I was surprised that Quinn ended up playing the game she did. There was so many persona's to Quinn: the quiet Quinn from the beginning of the game, the infiltrator Quinn during Kalabaw, and the flip-floppy Quinn during the merge. She was actually quite smart, getting out Carly and Hayley so that she could integrate herself into the Kalabaw tribe, and being the deciding vote in the Teddy vote. But her game kind of crash landed early when she tried to target Graham, and got discovered when he played his idol, and her game never truly recovered. Diantha was also a good character this season. She was definately played with emotions, but still managed to play strategically, which allowed her to get out Graham. Diantha did live up to expectations, but definitely chooses emotions over strategic thinking though. Whitney was the more quieter of the Matsing trio, but she did the best with the cards she was dealt with. I was actually surprised that she lasted as long as she did, so good on her for lasting to day 38. The Final 3 were all great, one of my favorite alliances in Castaway history. So rootable, that I didn't mind if either of them one. Delores was definately the leader of the alliance, and she of course lived up to expectations. She had control of the original Tandang tribe, and was super ruthless. But I think she was a bit too ruthless, which impacted her social game a bit and she failed to relate to others on a human level, hence why she didn't win. But she is still a great character. Yale started out as a bit of a goat, but did work a good enough social game to be a respected player. He did a good job in the alliance, but his failure to make big moves away from his alliance probably was the reason he didn't win. Ximena is actually a really good winner. She went the entire game without needing to play her idol, which is a great accomplishment. She is one of the best social players I think I've seen ever, despite her loyalty to her alliance. She really managed to have a great connection to almost everyone on the jury, and really worked that to her advantage to get to the end. She's one of my favorite players to win. This season was really great, every character had some involvmenet to the season, probably one of the best casts we've seen so far. No I can't wait for our second Fan vs. Favorites!
